How do I get shamrocks?

You can request them from your neighbors. I think.

You can ask your neighbors for them. You can also gift them to neighbors and sometimes neighbors will gift you back what you gift them.

the shamrocks are used to build constructible items . You would purchase the animal or decoration that needs these, place it then you can build the item or checking on materials needed by clicking on the item and managing it.

Yes, you can request them when you click on the item you are building. You can also post on walls to ask for them to gift these to you.
