My request thing doesn't reset until two days. Im in the East Coast(America) and i have to wait 2 days to request parts and it makes making appliances hard because i have to wait an extra day.

Wonder why? Sounds like a bug. I know at one point I was sending part requests and the intended neighbors were not getting the request or not for a long time later. :(

Requests should reset at midnight Pacific time (3am Eastern). Is this a one time thing, or a regular occurrence?

Well it happens some weeks and some weeks its normal.

How many requests are you sending per day? Only 20 of your neighbors can fill them. Sending too many can clog up the system, needing a day to reset.

Yeah i have 24 neighbors.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have 60 neighbors and you send all of them a part request, only 20 will go out on the first day and the other 40 wait for reset to send another 20. If the next day you send another 60 requests they get added onto your pending requests so now you have 100 requests pending. This can really put you behind for days in the request department as you can see you have tied up your requests now for another 5 days.

Are your neighbors all active players (at least daily)? If they are, try sending only 20 requests, see if it still happens.

@ fangee - I think you're partially right (though I'm not 100% sure). If you send out 60 one day, then 60 again the next day, I think the first days requests will disappear from those that couldn't fill it, and be replaced with the new ones. It's best not to try and send too many.

I have to agree with you GG, I only request what I need, and at most to only 20. I'm in no real hurry, so if I don't complete an item today I will tomorrow.

If you have sent out a ton of requests I recommend waiting a few days to clear your queue and start only asking at max 20 per day.
