items in storage: how to get them out???

How do I get items out of storage in Fashion Story? I have a rack I need to put back on my floor. Thanks.

You click the item with your finger and tap on the clear spot you want it.

If the rack has it's bottom right corner red and it has a number on it, just tap on the rack's button and place it in the desired spot.

I don't see the rack or the mirror I stored. I don't know even know how to view the items I stored. But I"m absolutely certain I didn't sell them. I need to know how to GET to the "room" or location where they are stored so I CAN click on them. Right now all that's on the bottom of my screen is "main", "catalog", "closet" and "design". At the top...the only numbers I see are number of coins, number of gems earned, my heart rating. Then there's the camera icon, the social icon and the Story icon for downloading other Story games.

Step 1: click on design tab.

Step 2: scroll to the item you want to place.

Step 3: tap on the item once

Step 4: Tap on the spot in your shop where you want to place it. Alternately you can drag the item out of storage with your finger and place it.

Sorry, but I'm still confused. :( Is there something that says "storage items" anywhere? How do I know where my stored items ARE? I can't find them. I wish someone would do a YouTube video on some of this. Written instructions are not helping. Right now i'm extra pissed cuz I just -- again accidentally -- put a whole rack of clothing in storage when I was trying to move it, but it was sitting too close to the "store" button. I could scream (again).

Retrieving an item from "storage" is just like purchasing the item. The steps are the same except when you select the object under the Design tab and then tab a clear space in your boutique, you won't be charged for it.

Now how do you know if the item is in storage. When you open the Design Tab in the lower righthand corner (next to Catalog and Closet) and cycle through the catalog options you will notice something different for those items that are in storage. As previously stated, you'll see a red triangle in the lower righthand corner of the object telling you how many of those items you have in storage.

In the image below, you'll see that I have 11 basic racks, 14 thin green tables, 6 thin orange tables and 4 thin blue tables in storage.

If I want to pull the green table, I would just tap it and then tap the location in my boutique where I'd like the table to be placed. If the area is clear, then you'll see the works "tap again to PLACE" (instead of "tap again to BUY").

To store an item
1. tap on design icon (lower right hand corner)
2. tap on the item you want to store
3. tap on the store icon (right hand side along the edge)
4. x out of design mode when you are done (you can skip this is you still need to be in the design mode


To place a stored or newly purchased item on the floor (it doesn't matter if you stored it or you are just buying it)
1. tap on the design icon to get into design mode (no need if you are already in the design mode)
2. tap on the tab that best describe the item you want to place (if you aren't sure, try each tab)
3. within each tab scroll (left and right) to the item you want to place on the floor (again, it doesn't matter if you stored it or you are buying a new one, just find that item.....if you can't find the item....then we can't help ya)
4. click on the item
5. click on the floor space where you want to place the item (if you will have repeat 3 and 4 if the placement failed due to fat fingering or you simply don't have enough space)
6. x out of the design mode (again, skip if you need to stay in the design mode for some other tasks)


On a side note, if you want to find stored items faster, you can look for a number at the bottom of the icon as you scroll through. If you had stored an item, there would be a counter on the icon. This counter indicated that you have stored an item and you can take it out without paying an additional fee. If this counter isn't there, any time you take out an item, you will have to pay the fee indicated in coins or gems.
