Hm not so sure about this update, i already got 2 species of frogs. If if costs gems i wont buy it.

The expansion contains the AXOLOTL, BULLFROG and YAK.

The axolotl costs 1400, and generates 41 gold + 4 XP in 14 hours.
An axolotl is a neotenic salamander, closely related to the Tiger Salamander. Larvae of this species fail to undergo metamorphosis, so the adults remain aquatic and gilled. It is also called ajolote (which is also a common name for different types of salamander). The species originates from numerous lakes, such as Lake Xochimilco underlying Mexico City. Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate limbs.

The bullfrog costs 11 gems (!!) and generates 42 gold and 5 XP in 12 hours. Its image appears to be the irish bullfrog without the green adornments. A demerit to TeamLava for lack of creativity.

The yak costs 6200 and generates 66 gold and 6 XP in 18 hours.

With these stats, none of these 3 are ranked in the top 100 for gold-earning.

In past updates, there has also been a hidden new cross-breed. However, none of the above 3 animals has the cross-breed symbol. I haven't carefully searched other animals to look for a new cross-breed. Sometimes in the past we get a pop-up screen advertising the new cross-breed, and sometimes we've gotten a new task assigned. I haven't seen either of these yet.

The Axolotl is actually a very "cute" looking animal in real life; it looks like its smiling. But did you know axolotls eat eachother's arms and then grow them back again? Ewwwww, I know.
I'm saving up some coins for my expansion to get the 3 new animals.

Love the new animals this week. I think the Axoloti and Platypus should have water habitats too. Only got 4 water habitats. Flamingo and Otter cost Gems. Dolphin came in the Collections. Sea Lion cost 900 coins each. There is also a Duck in the Far East Box.
