The addition of a steamer to appliances would be great and very international! The appliance would appear as a large black wok with a bamboo steamer on top - the food being prepared could show if no lid is added, or can show before the food starts to steam, and the food item would just appear as text showing whatbis being prepared while it is cooking ie. Lobster pot. Items included should be typical :
Dim sum items: har gow (shrimp dumplings - shrimp in rice flour wrap)
Lotus paste steamed bun (white round bun with a pink dot on the top centre, filled with a caramel-colored lotus-paste.
Steamed whole fish
Cheung Fun (three stacked white noodle rolls with minced beef inside, soy sauce is poured on when serving.
Stuffed green peppers - three pieces of a quartered green pepper, stuffed with a whitish-pink shrimp paste on top
Also, perhaps as another special appliance, a pressure cooker! Speeds up cooking time of stews or the like, by taking only a third of the time!
