Love potion is a recipe on the drink machine. Actually has anyone recieved a red potion and confirm whether it is a part or a new giftable drink?

I wish they would create all updates before making things like gifts available, because now the suspense is ****ing me!.. With the "Little red riding hood" images and now this potion I wont be surprised if this is an addition to the fairy tales..
I wonder what it's for...i just hope it's not just for iphone users...

I'm doing the same as I did with the shamrocks when they first came out - I've got 20 lined up in my queue from my neighbors but I haven't accepted any yet. Once the update rolls out and I see what it's for, then I can decide if and how many to accept. If it's for an appliance or a decoration I want more than 1 of, I'll accept them all. If it's for something I don't really want or only want 1 of, I'll only accept as many as I need and keep the rest of my gift queue free for any other gifts to come in throughout the day.

That was love potion, added valentines 2011, this potion is a part for something constructable.

There's a mermaid statue which needs constructible parts to make. I'm guessing that's what the red potions are for.

Yep that's what its for. It's a bit of a disappointment
It is used to make a mermaid statue. Don't know if there are other uses.

There it is. The mermaid statue cost 12,000 gold 6 paint and 8 red potions.It looks a lot nicer than the steampunk arcade. Maybe it's worth 14 parts.....not sure.

That is the most hideous thing I've ever seen in one of these games. After constructing it I decided it wasn't worthy of even sitting in storage. They sell for 1200 coins.

I was JUST gifted a frigging dragon part. *Sigh*. And this came from a neighbor who has gifted me USEFUL parts every other day. Why people are still gifting scales and teeth is beyond me. I've gotten several red potions today, but declined every one of them.

It's to make the mermaid statue. Takes 8 red potion and I think it was 6 paints. It's cute but I'm not digging how gift parts are needed for constructing decorations. I would rather have fun gift recipes like back at halloween or at least have the gift parts make a new machine or something but that's just me...

OMG same here LOL! I've built over 5 dragons trying to get rid of all the parts, only to have my finger slip and accept a darned scale! From now on, when neighbors start gifting constructable parts like crazy before the item comes out, I'll wait to accept them like the others have suggested.
