Who knows any bit of Uzbekistan or is an uzbek?? If you atleast know the culture then post!! :)

I didn't expect many responses because Uzbeks tend to stay in Uzbekistan which isn't the richest country (my own homeland, i belong to the uzbek ppl) but i didn't grow up learning the culture lol.

The only thing I know about Uzbek's are what I saw on SCTV's 3CP-1. And it wasn't very nice...

Is the capital Tashkent??? Don't feel like googling...

Yes the capital is Tashkent. It was a former Soviet republic. The people often live in villages and are traditionally nomadic. Most uzbeks practice Sunni Muslim.

I think it was also part of the Ottoman Empire before WW1.

And I did know that Uzbek's were nomadic (From SCTV).
