Missing Coins

Hi all. I'm new to this forum. I have found coins go missing. It was very apparent tonight when I used most of them to expand and decorate, returned a couple of hours later to continue decorating and the 10,000 coins I was informed I'd earned were not there, there were less than a thousand. This has happened many times. Is it common?

I am having the same problem, when I log in it says you have earned x number coins but they never showed up, I am missing over 100,000 coins.....

Try closing out the game and come back in to see if the coins get added.

Sometimes that works but mostly not, it is frustrating because I am trying to expand my restaurant and I should have been able to do that with all my missing coins. I also have bakery story and never have ANY problems there.

This morning it said that i earned 30thsd something.
When i try to cooked, pop message not enough coin.
Money gone, food also gone :(

are you both playing on the valentine restaurant game or the regular rest game?

I'm playing Restaurant Story Valentine Edition, version 1.4.3, on iPhone 4, ios 5.1, this morning I lost all what I earned during the night. It is not the first time. In general it happens when I have connection problems (I don't have connection problems with Smurf's Village, Tap Zoo, Pet Hotel,..): after it reconnects I see that the earned coins are lost (the earned amount and new total amount are not saved on the server?) and I have my old amount of coins, the one that I had 8 hours before.
But this morning I didn't have connection problems: the coins disappeared after I received the message about the limited offer.
I play (work) regularly and spend many thousends coins to cook on my 19 appliances and I receive nothing in exchange!
When will I have enough coins to expand? In 3 years? :-(

The valentine version has a design glitch according to TL, but you should not be losing coins.

I did just check with the CMs yesterday and you need to Keep using the Valentine editions until the main versions receive a version update.

There are some members telling others to go back to the regular games and this is not correct information.

I did as asked... but this morning there was no problem... The limited time offer message came quickly, just after the other messages/pop-ups and not delayed (as the day before). I lost no coins. I will monitor the situation in the next days.

This morning I lost coins. It's another situation. Yesterday night I had over 1 million coins. I don't have a screenshot, I fall asleep and the app remained open, in background.
This morning I received the message about earning 32'362 coins and the new total was 1'038'204 (xp 500'578).

Then I saw 6 tables with tips and I collected them (see my total xp of 500'590). After that I started serving the food that was ready (the Corned Beef Hash).
I started from links, 1,2,3,4,...and during the fifth, there was a refresh of the game, the food that I already served was no more served but still to serve and tips appeared to 6 new tables.
.... and... I lost coins: new total is 1'009'384.

I am on the valentine version I think. I stopped losing for a few days thought it was fixed but I have went backwards all day today. I just lost almost 20000 coins. I opened the game with 139000 then watched it go backwards to 122000. This is getting really annoying. Please help!!!!!!!!

If you have an iOS device you can hit the home button and the lock button to take a screenshot, that will show coins.

After dismissing them, my xp are all back, and my coins increase again but without my night earning/bonus (only 6'366 coins more instead of 2'776 + 44'902).
