This post is in UK currency - but you'll catch my drift if you read on and it works the same throughout the game.

Been playing the game a while and im quite an avid gem buyer, I go to the menu and I can never seem to work out the best package, it didnt seem right to me. So I've done some calculations and see no point in the ?6.99 gem package for 50 gems. So here it is...

(Package & Cost per gem in relation [rounded up])

24 Gems for ?2.99 - 12p per gem
50 Gems for ?6.99 - 14p per gem
105 Gems for ?13.99 - 13p per gem
275 Gems for ?34.99 - 13p per gem
508 Gems for ?69.99 - 12p per gem

Anyone seen the flaw yet?

I mean i'm not moaning but surely TL are actually conning us by giving us the idea that the bigger the package - the better deal you're getting on them...? Ive never bought bigger than 24 gem packs - but theres some people who buy without thinking. I mean sure, its essentially pennies - but pennies add up when you're buying a lot of gems!

There is no incentive either to buy a bigger pack. Plus, there are actually people who buy the most expensive pack - if you look on iTunes on the FS download, you can see 'in game popular purchases', and the 50 gem pack is rather popular! Scam much! :confused:

I'm not sure why TL charges the way they do for the UK, but the US pricing it all goes down per gem package. Here are our rates:

24 = 4.99 $0.21
50 = 9.99 $0.20
105 = 19.99 $0.19
275 = 49.99 $0.18
580 = 99.99 $0.17

Obviously the non-sale pricing, but our 1-4 top sellers are the 24, 50, 105, and then the 50 at the sale price of $7.99, which actually makes each gem $0.16 for that package during the sales. Which I've yet to receive on the iPad 2! :(
