I have an iPhone 4 and was just prompted to update the software to iOS5.1
I did so and now the Valentines goals on the left of my restaurant home screen (that I had already completed) have finally gone.
I didn't have to delete then re-install the game to get rid of them.
Can Still cook candy hearts and chocolate hearts.
Home screen looks less cluttered too.
