What is the maximum number of gift you can receive in a day? Sometimes in the evenings when I want to send gifts the message says that a neighbor has already received the max.

You can receive 20 per day that way, and request a further 20 per day.

The gift day resets at 12:00 am pacific time. The later in the day you gift, the more likely your neighbors will be maxed out. I sent gifts at 12:26 am pacific time on Sunday and one of my neighbors was maxed out already.

I sent out my gifts today shortly after reset and every single one went through. Yay for insomnia!
