I believe I'm not the first one to know this . I was thinking of buying up to 10 ovens or grills to finish my goals. I bought 2 ovens and 1 grill. Lo and behold, I found out that I was able to keep all my drink machine, ice cream maker, chestnut roaster and all other appliances and change them to oven or grill I need to cook that dish to complete the goal. Now I understand what GM's advice to keep all my appliances means. It's actually to exchange them. To make it simpler, if I have to to bake 20 banana bread, I can store all the rest of the machines and convert them to ovens. Each time you store an appliance, the appliance slot is unlocked! Just buy the one that don't need gears to save time. Then when I need to make 15 love potion, I can convert all my appliances to drink machines and finish making love potion within 1 day. If I have known this earlier, I will have completed many goals and unlocked many recipes. Can TL inform all new players or those that are ignorant of this information that they still have time. Thank God I found this out early! Low level players, we have hope!

Oh dear it's a shame you didn't know this before. I found this out straight away when new to the game cos when in design mode I noticed the storage button. I hope others figure it out too.

I did too. The goals for things on the ovens for drink mixers are easy because I can have 9 (I'm at level 36) ovens or drink mixers out but I didn't like the almond sugar cookies because you have to have a special machine for that and I didn't want to buy 9 of them because you need parts. it took me 15 days to make them because of that. I know I could've just asked my neighbors for the parts but I wasn't going to use the machine after the goal so I didn't see the point of getting 9 of them. Sorry about this long long rant and I don't blame you for only reading the first sentence.

Sad to say, others didn't find this out. Just told one of my neighbors who was Having all unnecessary machines. I know that there is a storage button but didn't know once I store, I can buy another appliance.
