Food selling too slowly

I'm wondering if there's any way I could speed up the rate at which food is sold in my bakery. I still have food from the summer just sitting there and whenever I cook something it just piles up. I don't want to just clear the counters because I want the coins from what I made, but my bakery is getting really crowded. I have an original iPad with the latest update and I'm currently using the Valentines Day version of the game. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you

Wow this was really helpful, I had 100,000+ food on each counter that wouldn't sell and I got rid of it! Thanks for posting about this thread lolz but I put my resto back to the way it was.. Kinda think that design is ugly lol

I have been to the site but still rate of selling is still way slower than rate of making!! I have to slow my production by baking items that require 1 to 2 days!!
