3rd "extra slot" gem trap I've fallen into now.

I know a lot of people say they're done buying gems because of the extra slot gem trap they've fallen into, but I'm actually done with buying gems and not giving in anymore. This is the third time I've accidentally purchased a slot. Obviously Team Lava doesnt care about their customers and the fact that their money is getting wasted. In fact, they've created even more gem traps then ever before. So I'm done buying gems and probably going to quit playing soon.

I don't really care if you feel sorry for me or not. Also, I never "gambled" anything. If I wanted to do that I would go to the casino. I'm just stating that it's pretty low how a company recieves many complaints about the same problem over and over again and doesn't care. I've worked in multiple companies were last time I checked, complaints were a bad thing.

OLD saying, THREE STRIKES, YOUR OUT...at least this person gave benefit of the doubt that TL might have a compassionate or honest bone somewhere in between the parties and pink-a-tinis to care, but people are just fed up. I have been lucky, I have not gotten a gem sale since last September , so I can't lose any. And yes I love animals but I Gave to the SPCA and an Animal shelter, what I got in Itunes cards.

I feel bad for you too. This happened to me several times. I tried to prevent it happening by putting a long time order next to the trap slot. TL just absolutely sickens me. I am taking a break from their traps...for now I'm am still checking as I have a little stock to sell off before I write "No Gem Traps" in tile on my floor. I know that my neighbors are still sending me requests and I take care of those for them.

Be careful!! Don't hit anything by accident and always read the pop ups. I was going to spend my gems on the build able table but now I can't.

Yeah it was just suggested to be that I should just keep the amount of gems under the necessary amount so I can't accidentally purchase another slot but it's hard especially when you're saving up or trying to earn enough for an item worth 32 gems

That saying is so true. Wow I can't believe you haven't gotten a gem sale in that long. At least you're giving to something good rather then this then.

Sorry for you , i did it yesterday ; i losed 110 gem in baker too , i felt sad i think , why the team put choice ( accept or not ) to aviod wrong press and waste gems

I haven't fallen into a big gem trap yet (I've fallen 2 times into the complete drink for 5 gems in nightclub twice) but can imagine how frustrating it must be. In fashion it's easy to avoid the extra clothes slot button as I'm on an iPad and big buttons but on a smaller device I can easily see how it could accidently be hit. If I was playing on a smaller device with my fat fingers I'd probably have falling into it several times over.

Everyone shouldn't be blaming TL for this because they have warned of this and I'm sure they would refund your gems but there is no way to actually prove you fell for a gem trap.

No. They never refund gems. Period.

People would stop blaming TL if there was a confirmation pop-up whenever a Gem Cost item is about to be purchased by the player, but since they're too busy making us new add pop-ups I guess they just don't have the time to do this as well. :rolleyes:
