Inability to bake

My game periodically does not allow me to bake new things. Tapping does absolutely nothing. The game is not frozen as I can do other things, like serve already started things, visit other bakeries etc. Waiting it out worked once but usually doesn't. I can delete and reinstall the game to be able to bake again but this is a major pain. Can you fix this?

Unfortunately this seems to be happening to many of us. Hopefully kooky will be able to alert DWF or GM to this issue.
Are you playing on the valentines day version? That version is supposed to be less buggy than the original/regular version
