Can not cook food

When it says tap to cook again I can do this but can not tap on the food to cook it? It worked earlier but will not work now.

Do you mean when you tap, it keeps saying to tap to prepare and does not actually start cooking?

If so, go visit a neighbor, or if that doesn't work get out of the game and start back up.

I've had that happen a lot.

I tred it still can not click on the food to cook it lets me scroll through the food just not choose it to start cooking.

Oh, you're talking about not being able to select food out of your cookbook to cook, right? I haven't seen that in Restaurant Story but I've had that happen when trying to plant crops in Farm. In that case I restarted the game and it worked.

You can try that, if it doesn't work, try restarting your game, or reinstalling the game.
