The Great Bakery Update Date: February 16!

Well, it's almost here! The Great BS Update Date! I haven't announced the updates in quite some time now, and I apologize for my absence. I am back now, and for a while. The updates have been changed from Friday to Thursday, giving us our updates one day earlier in the week. Valentine's Day is over, and the Valentine's Day version is now unnecessary. You can delete it, and redownload the regular version from the App Store/Andriod Market. The Valentine's goals will be available for a while longer, so don't worry about not finishing them.*This week, the new teasers are from GM. Welcome the Log Table & Chairs and the Hot Cocoa Machine to your Bakery soon!

Just like in the RS thread, I don't believe that the goals will count if we do them on the regular version, and that one also hasn't had the update for the coin loss bug fix like the Valentine's version has to my knowledge for the iOS platform.

That is correct Kooky previously stated that for recipes to be counted towards the goals you have to use the Valentine version.

Yes what you've earned will be transferred.

Androids don't have goals, but iOS is still working on Valentines goals so they most likely won't be getting any new goals. If they do, Androids won't get them.

TeamLava releases new features to iOS but not Android, which is why there is a difference. Androids will get the new features in 3-6 mo after newer features are released to iOS. You don't think TeamLava would want to see Androids and iOS have the same features now, do you?

Yes, the weekly updates happen for everyone, on both platforms. I haven't seen it happening lately, but the updates used to roll out, so some would receive them on Friday, and others on the following Tuesday (OS didn't matter).

The goals are currently only for iOS users
Unfortunately, these items are not available for Android users at this time. Our team is working to make these features available as soon as possible. I cannot say when this will be ready.

with all these appliances, tl is rying to slow us down in mastering recipes. truffles, chocolate dips, and hot cocao can be cooked on oven and drink machine. i understant donut maker and ice cream but its ridiculos now at the many 1 or 2 hit wonder appliances. with having to build them request parts etc we get slowed down. i still havent mastered the one day sugar coater cookies

Yes, thank you for that advise. I just love cooking a 16 banana bread or a 12 hour carrot cake to then remove it from the oven in regular RS to see it doesn't stick and have to redo it all over again. NOT.

The SIMPLE thing is if someone is still working on the goals, NOT to use the regular version until they're done. I'm really happy you've completed already, congrats!

I'm done with goals but my neighbors aren't. If I transfer to the regular version will I still get my neighbors material requests. I still want to help them out

I am using IOS, and still have 1 more goal that I'm waiting to complete, I was really just doing something until the new update came out, so should I let it complete if I am reading correctly. If I decide not too do so, would I go to the rv will there be the new update there?

Besides the bug fixes that valentines has - I like it because I like how it looks. I'll probably keep using it until there are new goals. Itd be nice if any new goals would work in it. If not than I'll do the goals in other version than back to the cute pink version!

I have been pushing for hardwood floors for ages, but I'm disappointed with these. The scale seems totally wrong when compared to the wood grain on the various tables, and the color is sort of muddy. The length of the boards is too short, too, which makes it looks more like brick.

Plus they cost gems. I don't mind paying gems for a small area of flooring, but hardwood is more everyday flooring, so I think it should be for coins.

That is true. It would be real easy to make the mastery items and decorations available to Androids as if they were weekly content, but that isn't happening either. That is really sucky.

I wonder why don't they simply make the goal items accesible in the same way constructed appliances are? In other words, the swan fountain would have to be constructed from parts requested from neightbours, molten lava cake would need ingredients which would have to be requested as well. I'm a programming illiterate so is that possible?

I am not crazy about the woodish style at all, so am not planning to buy, but like cocoa machine, dont understqnd also why some players are in so hurry go away from valentine version, i am not planning it as i like that one much more than regular one.
