How do we earn more money quicker ?

I'm having trouble earning money and i'm only stuck @ $30,000. This is my fourth week playing.

Save up, and only purchase plants with maximum profit. Dont buy decorations or anything and dont spend money on missions.

plant strawberries or raspberry, they don't cost anything and the reward is coins.

Plus planting the Raspberries has given me the Buried Treasure collectible set 2 times today ($10k each) and the Cakes/Pies collectible set once so far ($6k). I only need 1 pumpkin pie to get that one again, and with the way it's taking me to master them, I'm thinking I may just get it.

That would get you over that $30k slump you're in. :)

I had the same problem, a neighbor at level 96 suggested evrything in inventory and plow my whole farm. Plant the short growing time crops,( 3hr and 4hr). I did that and in 2 days went up to levels, completed the cakes and pies 2 times and also the buried treasure twice. I went from 75,000 coins to 300,000 and I was able to expand to 18x18. I then took some things from inventory to decorate, but my farm is still about 90% for planting. check out my farm, id is loriec36

Is there also a way to receive more gems? I made 2 purchases by a missclick and now my gems are gone. I already installed (and removed) all those games for free gems.

Same here, this is my fifth week playing, and from the second or third day, I had put everything in the inventory and plowed my whole farm, extending it as soon as I had enough money.
I also used the table of crops that is in the thread "Farm Inventory & Chart": very useful to see which crops give you the most.
I also asked my neighbours to send me dog bowls, that I could then sell for 400 coins.
Then I visit all my neighbours everyday, and they water back, which allows another 20 coins per spot that has been watered in your farm.
And I also water a lot in the Community leaving a message on their wall, so they water back, and that also helps getting some collectibles for Cakes and Pies.
And after 5 weeks, I am already level 64 and with almost 2.000.000 coins... but I must admit that I played a lot *hides*

Each time you make level 2 of a crop (that's planting and havesting 500 plants), you get 1 gem and 50 Experience.
When you make level 4 of a crop (2,500 plants), you get another gem, 200 XP, and a garden gnome.


Level 1 2000 Coins 20 XP 167 Harvests
Level 2 1 Gem 50 XP 500 Harvests
Level 3 4000 Coins 100 XP 1,167 Harvests
Level 4 1 Gem 200 XP 1 Gnome 2,500 Harvests

Trees are a little different

Level 1 20 Harvests
Level 2 120 Harvests
Level 3 370 Harvests
Level 4 870 Harvests

Mostly, I go to level 2 for crops, then start working on other crops in order to get gems. I'll go back and get Level 4 after I've gotten most of the Level 2s.

on my farm it is 25, 125, 375 and 875 for trees...not much difference but still 5 more trees per level
