So pissed right now. The stupid pop-up for the valentine box came up and I was at the corner trying to click for my clothes as they were ready and now I wasted 24 fricken gems (sorry excused my language) I was saving my gems to decorate my store. And it's not even good prize its stupid mailbox.

I don't even buy gems I work hard to get it and it's REALLY frustrating.

Sorry about my rant. Is there anyway to contact TL to recieve my gems back because I worked to hard to get them.

TL's policy is not refund gems or coins. Many have accidentally bought a box, and have not been refunded. Sorry. Many people have fallen victim to that same gem trap popup you just hit. Hope you got something you can use.

The pop ups have really started to get out of control. I'm pretty sure when I open the game I automatically get 5 pop ups in a row now. As for the accidental gem purchase, exact same thing happened to me and I got such a bad item I was def angry to say the least. The confirmation button is long overdue.

I worked really really hard to get my gems and I accidentally clicked your popups and I was wondering if I can get them back?

Thanks. Oh and if you can, at least award a person a better gift than 4th place if your trying to trick someone from losing their gems just so you can get money. Okay? :)

You know what's even worse than the 5 pop ups in a row? When you start cooking or ordering, the game stops functioning and you have to close it out and restart! Five more popups! It's starting to really tick me off. I have started playing 2 very similar games from another developer - so far I am very happy with them.

I've almost clicked it multiple times now, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it gets me. I just can't believe they would add something that is so obviously just there to get people to accidentally spend their gems. The mystery boxes are a enough of a rip-off already without making people open them mistakenly!

I have a feeling too. It at least took them 3 weeks to finally inform their players that they would be converting back to the old system. If a lot of people complain just a day after the changes wouldn't bells be ringing in their heads? Apparently not.

2 days ago I had e-mail them for a another problem and 30 minutes later they had no problem giving me an answer. (Here I thought their customer services were actually getting better) But just yesterday I e-mailed them about the gem trap and I still have not receive an answer. I probably won't hear an answer for a long time, but that's okay, because in return I'll just send them for e-mails. :)

Actually, as you know from the e-mail the automated system sent you, they have a limited service over the weekend.
That'd be why you've not got an answer yet.
Also, spamming their system won't get you answered any quicker.

COUNT ME IN!!! This needs to be adress ASAP by the players since we are the ones left holding the short hand of the stick. It is horrible to think within two minutes of starting the game, I am liable to lose 24 gems on the box = 14 gems on the special item of the week. That is the reason I never keep my earned gems. I spent them right away on what I need.

^ I know how it feels, too. I wasted 5 gems for an hour drink ._. They seriously need a confirmation button and refund people their gems back. I'm not sure if this happens to people, but when you guys buy gems (I don't buy them) and if you don't receive them, does TL refund your money back?

Actually there is a confirmation button for finishing foods early.

There is still a need for one on the boxes, extra appliances, and fashion slot. I also hope these come soon.

If you purchase gems and they do not get added to your game, you send support an email with a copy of your receipt showing your purchase then they will check the game and if the gems were not added, they will add the gems. TL cannot give refunds. Purchases and refunds are issued through a third party(apple/itunes for IOS and various parties for android depending on the device).

This happened to me too (I posted a thread about it also) I want my gems back, they arent answering my emails, i'm not backing down on this one, seeing as I purchased the gems with real money :(

Bummer, but tl doesn't think there is a need for confirmation buttons - they feel players are overzealous with their tapping. I would love to see one applied, but doubt it would happen any time soon.

Good job team lava !! U've mad another "perfectly" done gem trap which many of the players have fallen to ... I guess the extra slot trap hasnt make u rich enough ... BRAVO !!!

I'll probably get thrown out of here but the pop-ups when the game first opens don't bother me all that much. To me it gives the server some time to realize I'm actually on the game and I don't lose coins I'd made while I was away as it takes me longer to actually START playing the game. LOL

The pop-ups that come up randomly WHILE I'm playing the game, like putting things in or taking things out of the appliances/catalog, picking up tips or placing them, and etc....REALLY ANNOY ME. Those are completely unnecessary as I'd already see the darn things when I opened the game!!!! Those are the pop-ups that usually make me mess up as they come up right when I'm about to click and it doesn't matter if I'm going slow or fast, as I'm within an inch of the screen and !WHAM! out of the blue a POP-UP!

I didnt get a confirmation button for an early finish. I accidentally hit it and wham 16 gems gone! No confirmation, no 200 for passing go, no refund, no real email reply back, nothing but gems gone on something that only took 4 hours.

The extra slot gem trap is really successful in Fashion Story. This one gets people playing many of the other games, so it has the potential to be even more successful.

On the confirmation button for finishing foods early, once I had my finger hovering over an appliance. I heard a couple of clicks, saw a flash, and the next thing I knew I completed cooking my dish for 5 gems. I never touched the screen.

The default for a confirmation button should be "No" instead of "Yes" otherwise people will still fall into the gem traps.

On Restaurant Story I've lost uncountable hard-earned gems because of a sudden popup to buy coins with gems, right where I was either tapping to make food or tip. Sometimes 5 or 6 times in a few minutes.Naturally Storm 8 will not offer a confirmation window before they steal your gems. Just another greedy, manipulative, sleazy S8 trick. You also don't get your own storage for your items but have to wade through all their stuff to get to your items; they herd you like that disreputable department store to try to entice you into buying more stuff. AND, the sell back rate is only 10%, plus you don't even get gems back for items that cost gems. I haven't given them the satisfaction of spending real money on their games for years. Considering they have such a lack of integrity, and no customer service (none of my emails have ever been answered, they just send the same automated response to check the forum) - I have to wonder how they manage not to be shut down by the Attorney General's Office.
