wow this is dumb because when it showed the sign that said valentines day is coming soon i clicked on the ok button ONCE and then for some reason i bought the valentine gift box!!!!! it wasted my gems for no reason!

Actually there should also be a Valentine Lamp. I know it was there before and then got removed, but I saw it in my earlier again and should be added with the Valentine Candlebra.

Yeah.. look a the image. Look at how "no" is on the left and "buy" is on the right.

Of course this defies common usage of confirmation buttons where yes is on the left and no is on the right. It's preying on players who aren't paying attention 100%.

It's definitely a new gem trap - you've got to give them points for effort and creativity, lol. I've now learned to tap slowly, slowly when I first enter the game and let the pop ups play out so I know what I'm tapping. I've also spent the bulk of my gems so I don't have enough for the expensive stuff to "accidentally" spend.

I didn't see any new recipes but I've got stuff cooking so I haven't checked all the appliances. I do know that as of this morning, there was no new recipe on the Outdoor Grill so the BBQ Wings aren't on there.

Ok so now that ive downloaded it, after I complete all the goals then what do I do with the 2 restaurants?? Why couldn't they have just merged it into 1 game???

For some reason TL gives you iOS users a separate app for the holiday, ie Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's day, etc......Once the Valentine's version stops being updated by TL you'll just uninstall it and go back to using regular Restaurant. You don't have 2 different restaurant's, it's the same one. In order to do the goals and have them apply you must do them in the Valentine's version of the app. Most iOS users just uninstall the regular version so they don't accidently go in there to get food off their appliances that were goal related, as they won't go towards your goals if you do that.

Separate app is released for different holidays to force users to download them and boost the app rating in the app store.

Sure there the background, starting image and menu look different but there aren't any huge updates that warrant having to download a separate app for it. It's for marketing purposes.
