Placing machines for goals

When doing goals and it asks us to place a certain machine do we have to keep it out or can we store it? I have placed the truffle maker and the fruit dip machines for the goals but don't need them yet. I don't want to put it into storage and then mess my goals up. Thanks

You can take appliances in and out of storage(make sure there is no food on them when you store, or you will lose the food)
For my goals, I am always taking the difference appliances in and out of storage as I need them.

Note: you cannot store an unbuilt appliance.

note: make sure that you are at the goal and it gets checked off before you store it.
