Expansion costs

Is it just me, or was the cost of expansion by gems raised? I was saving up gems to expand and knew I needed 20, then when I saved them and went to expand, it says it costs 40!?!? Why did they do this? I noticed they raised it in fashion too 

It did, sorry. Could you perhaps have maybe some more Nbrs as the coin option requires a certain amount of nbrs.
The add me list on here may help you, some lists the nbrs just want to gift so there are many options.

Thanks for the info. I probably will just save up to expand with coins, I've got plenty nbrs for that, but it takes SO long to earn a million plus coins in fashion! Bummer.  Maybe they'll go back down again in the future... Or better yet, maybe they'll do an expansion sale like that one time forever ago...
