I was helping a friend set up the game on her iPod Touch. We downloaded Bakery Valentine's Day edition. We ran into this glitch.

GLITCH: The very first thing the tutorial asked for was to use the drink machine. However, the catalog could not be used. The selected item was locked. The catalog could not be scrolled to see other items. The catalog could not be exited.

SOLUTION: I shut down the game using the Home button. When Bakery was launched again, the game was completely normal except for the fact that the tutorial was no longer active.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

A screenshot of the glitch is attached.

Same glitch in Farm Story (regular edition)!

This is a known issue. This is occurring because the current account on the device is not the first account to play the game. Since there use to be a higher level account, the tutorial will display locked items intended for the old account. The tutorial item you need to make is usually the 2nd item in the list.

I asked her and she said it's a 3rd gen, so I'm guessing it's not new. Sorry. :-)

No worries. At least we figured out the problem.
