Giving gifts to neighbours

My friends ask for certain things like sugar but when I go to give it to them it's not in that list thing. What do I do?? Help please!!:confused:

Your nbrs are requesting items needed to complete goals, they will send you a request for a certain item. Then if you have a look in your news feed under your gifts, you can send back by accepting the request. I hope that helps you.
The players have so many different part requests/ goal requests and normal gifts, it can be confusing I agree.
It does get easier as you send back more and learn the different request/gift systems.
