Black Out?

I have been getting posts from neighbors about a TL black out on 01/29/2012.
Does anyone know more about this and the actual reasoning behind it? :confused:

Some people from rs bs and fashion are going on strike for one day, 29th, regarding the portion amounts being changed.

I'm undecided -- I like the concept (although I would like it better if it were to protest the cost of gems / boxes), but I am pretty addicted so I don't know if it is feasible for me... hahaha

I'm not sure they care that much if people stop playing for a day. I encourage players to stop buying gems due to gem traps though.

If players banned together to stop buying gems they would take notice more quickly.
