Is there a level that appliances will no longer require us to be at a certain level?

You'll unlock an appliance slot every 4 or 5 levels until you max out on level 73 with 18 appliances. You can always buy extra or early appliances for gems.

so that means you cant get any more appliances when you reach to level 73 ?

You can have more appliances if you buy the appliance slot with gems. When you place your 18th appliance it'll display the option for you with a giant button that you can press to instantly get a new appliance slot for 24 gems.

So BE CAREFUL. There is NO confirmation, it just automatically deducts your gem and allows you to put an 19th (or more) appliance down. :).

No sorry we have to swap in and out of storage so that we don't have more than the max of 18 appliances. We can have more appliances for gems if we choose to. I have a mix of appliances out usually, unless I want to rank on a certain recipe then I have all the same appliances out then.
