I have only received one gnome despite mastering other fruits. What am I doing wrong?

Also, a friend I play with finds buried treasure and has a collectible option under his menu. I don't seem to have either.

Thought maybe app needed to update but it errrors and tells me uninstall and reinstall. I am too scared I will lose my whole farm

you won't lose your farm. i've uninstalled and reinstalled many times on my android platform. it will make your life much happier!
