Won't let me cook on my appliances! Help!

the game will let me serve things that are ready, but won't let me select new items to cook on empty appliances. It will show the cookbook, but nothing happens when you touch an item to select it. Please help!

Could this have something to do with the update? I had installed Bakery Story Halloween to see if I could get access to the cute recipes. When I found I couldn't, I uninstalled it. Same with Bakery Story Christmas. Is that part of my problem?

Not for me. I started to play today, didn't install anything, it just wasn't possible to cook anymore...

I just started baking Peking Dust 10 minutes ago. I'm on Android.

I've had my game get messed up where normal functions wouldn't work, and exiting and restarting got the game back to normal. But if multiple people are having the same problem, it sounds more like a TL bug, but I can't say for surel

I tried force closing the game, as was suggested for another problem. it worked like a charm! I'll do this every time I have a problem:)
