Missing gems

I am starting to get really frustrated with this game, I lost a bunch of food a couple of days ago which sucks because that was time lost. Then today I was up to 12 gems just by playing the game not purchasing them which takes a tonnne of time and then all of a sudden I only have one! Seriously frustrating!!!!!!!!!! Please fix this!

Hello -

Try restarting your device, or uninstalling and installing the game again. If you do this, you will not lose data, progress is saved on the TeamLava servers.

As for the missing food... there has been an out of sync issue lately; otherwise I am unsure as to what the answer to that problem might be.
