Can't purchase new lotus fountain?

I have the pop up for the lotus fountain and I see it in the design tab. However, when I select to buy it, it says to pick an empty place to put it but when I go to place it nothing happens. Bug maybe?

I've had issues placing items sometimes, the lotus fountain is big. Try picking different places with plenty of room and hopefully with a few more try's you be able to place. I'm not sure, but I wonder if the pop up affects us placing items sometimes. Try tapping really hard to purchase, that's worked for me in the past. Please do let us know though, if after a lot more tries you're still unable to place it.

It might that you do not have enough space layed out to place the fountain. If that's not the case, then it could possibly be a bug.

I have the chocolate fountain. It is 4x4 and I need a 5x5 space to place it. Once placed, I can move things around so it only takes up 4x4.

Try to make sure you have a space one row and one column more than what you need.

oh it is so pretty and the colour is perfect for my bakery 
I know it was expensive but I couldn't resist it
it makes up for trying to get the pink carousel I just couldn't get
out of the boxes at least with this I knew how beautiful it looks 

Sorry, the lotus fountain was a limited time offer which has finished now. The limited time offer's are sent to random players, which I think is such a shame. I wish all players were offered them.
