I skimmed the posts, but didn't see anything that stood out as to my issue, so I apologize if I'm duplicating a question.

How do you keep that happy face at the top of the screen so he's bright yellow and smiling real big ?

I read the game rules so I get that happiness should be more than population, but I can't seem to get it to the right level!! I'll add one residence at a time because it tells me to add more residences but then it flips to add more businesses and the happy face stays at just happy.

I want my city to be ECSTATIC!!

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

To get the super smiley, your happiness has to be 1.5 times your population. Unfortunately there is no benefit to super happy citizens. You still get the same yield from contracts and collecting sparkles.

The "Happiness Factor" is a missed opportunity by the devs.
