itd be cool if we could rotate objects diagonally. (have 8 different positions instead of 4) i understand this can be trickier for objects that take up 2 or more spaces, but its just a suggestion :P

This would cause TeamLava hard work. Which, they wouldn't do. The items are only 2d though. They're just 2d pictures.

obviously theyre 2D but even 2D images can create a 3D illusion. also, TL can just do it with theyre newer items, which would save them the trouble of redoing all the older images

Again, this would be hard work, something TeamLava wouldn't do. (hard work)

But you can work to rotate the object exactly in the four direction. All objects are visible in TWO points of view instead of the classics four of the 2D rotation (front, rear, left, right).

Which isn't an option for me in FS, which I would love to be able to do. The floor mirrors and dressing rooms would be so much easier for me to place in my boutique if I had more than just 2 options for how to turn them. *sigh*

I think its a valid discussion and I don't think it would be hard work at all, its a simple matter for them to load the image and do a mirror image command. there'd be no need to do any extra drawing. it would be very useful for displaying my dragon and phoenix more appropriately.

So I bought a tv, bookshelves, and then the couch only to find out you can't rotate the couch to face the tv, what gives?
