I am wondering what happens when i leave my home wifi? I am new to Restaurant story and dont want to get a surprise when i get my phone bill at the end of the month...Even if i dont go into the app does it still use my internet time?

No, the app doesn't use up data when not open. It only uses up data when it loads something. For example, if you are cooking a 12 hour recipe, and you just start it. You come back 5 hours later. Before you open the app, that timer is essantially still at 12 hours ON YOUR DEVICE. Your app syncs with the TL servers when you open it, and that is what costs data. But either way, I find that TL games don't use up very much data.
