Discrepancies in game play between 2 devices

I am playing ZS2 on two devices. There have been some differences in game play that make no sense to me.

The first regards expansion #3. That is the first expansion where you need to collect bananas. On one device, it made me collect 8. On the other device, it's only asking for 4.

The second regards the "zoo size" rating that affects your overall star rating for your zoo. On one device I had expanded 2 times. It gave me two stars for zoo size. On the other device, I had expanded 2 times and the 3rd was under construction, but it only gave me 1 star for zoo size.

What is going on? :confused:

I am playing ZS2 on two devices, too.
One device is LEVEL 30, another is LEVEL 21.
Level 30, expansion needs 32 bananas at 35X35 #1.
Level 21, expansion needs 48 bananas at 28X35 #2.
When lv30 expand to 28X35 #1 just needs 24 bananas.
Perhaps how many bananas needs depending on level.

Hm, that doesn't make sense that they would require MORE bananas from someone at a lower level. In my case, the game that required 8 bananas was (I think) 2 levels ahead of the game that required 4 bananas.
