Two day expansion?

I'm at level 15 and I don't remember expansions taking two days. Does the time increase the more you expand or did the expansion time just increase across the board?

Also, when I first tried this latest expansion this morning it said I needed 4 permits total. I requested the permits from neighbors and then this afternoon after I received all 4 permits I went to expand and it said I had 4 of the 8 necessary permits. It seems to have increased after I put in the requests. Was this some "update" TL did or a glitch?

It increases per expansion (though so far I've been no longer than 2 days, though the gem-skip amount still increases).

Did it say 4/8, or 8/4?

No, my current expansion is worth 16. This is the first expansion to get 28 by 28 tiles, to the left. Is this supposed to be like this, because all my other expansions needed 4.

I think It increases quickly, My last expansion that's going now needed 48 Permits, so took 3 days to get those before I could do the 2 day expansion.
