This morning I went in to tip and gift my neighbors, under "Social." Each one disappeared after tipping and gifting them. How do I correct this situation?

No, it's a new feature which makes it much easier! They just go to the botton of the list (not disappear completely) so that the next person is at the top; a fabulous addition.
