Prime Rib & Cider: New Gifts?

So I looked in my Gifts Tab this AM and what do I see? Hundreds of plates of Ham, and hundreds of glasses of Cider!

Since these items are not available for me to send to my neighbors, and none are gifts which I accepted from neighbors, I'm wondering....

Did Santa come early this year?

I noticed that too. I had 900 ciders, and then prime rib for restaurant. I don't know where they came from..

I guess that is one of the rewards for opening the recipe(and finishing) one goal... I noticed that too in my gift inventory but it doesn't show in the list of gifts to give to nbrs....

i think you're awarded 900 dishes in your gift box once you unlock a new recipe, at least that's what showed up in mine

Yeah, it's no gift. Just something that shows up on your counters once you unlock new recipes.

I thought it was a nice way of being reminded that there is a new recipe. Especially since i didnt have any of my ovens or drink sitting out at the time. Time to get workin on the mastery.

Whenever I unlock a new recipe in RS or BS (except yule log in BS) I get 900 plates in my gifts, and I can serve them.

iOS thing. Not for Android. They won't even show us what the holiday goal items look like. Maybe they'll give us coal for Christmas.

The 900 dishes are probably rewards for completing the quest and unlocking the recipe.

Interesting, I had several thousand yule logs in my gifts today!
