How do I use parts that were gifted to me, to build new appliances?

I have appliances I am trying to build that require parts I have that were given to me as gifts from neighbors. When I first purchased the appliance, it applied a few of the parts but not all. I have a huge supply of parts that could easily finish building all 3 appliances I am currently waiting for parts on. Why aren't my gifted parts being applied to my appliances? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks in advance!!!!

Maybe the parts aren't required for the relevant appliance? Or if you have more than one bring built they are being credited elsewhere?
