And I really wanna know about the fire oven does it have new recipes?

I just bought 3 fireplace ovens and they seem to do exactly the same thing as regular ovens do. LOL! ANDROID USERS UNITE! UNFAIR CONTENT CONTINUES!

Just got the update - yippee, Red Velvet Cookies and Chocolate Cherry Trifle.

Here are the stats:
Chocolate Cherry Trifle, 8 hours, costs 2310 coins, earns 8500, 89 XP, 2125 servings
Red Velvet Cookies, 3 hours, costs 2180 coins, earns 7100, 42 XP, 1775 servings

Gem offer is a cat for a limited time (28 gems?)

There is two new recipes,
Red velvet cookies x 1775, + 42 xps, 7100 coins( costs 2180)
And
Chocolate cherry trifle x 2125, + 89 xps, 8500 coins(costs 2310)
and....BEST OF ALL, you don't have to unlock them!!!!!!!!!!
There is also some new decorations if you have the Christmas version! Hope this helped!

Loving the update today! TWO new recipes, fun Christmas lights, cute 12 days of Christmas decos (wish they were all for coins but I'll take what I can get; I have the partridge and the two turtle doves anyway!). Nice that the gingerbread wallpaper is for coins, though I'm not sure it will look good in my bakery so I probably won't put it up.

I heard it was 5 of each item, and they were knobs, screws, fuse, and gears.

No it's not an easy appliance. And as far as I can tell, it's only for looks- does exactly the same thing as a regular stove. same recipes as the regular stove.

Even though it says that we have it in the FAQ, it really means only ios users have badges, medals and collectibles. They have yet to be released to Android users.

Did anyone else get the candy cane maker oven? I got it, but the only cake on there (the candy cane cake) is locked. There was also a marzipan oven too.

you need to download the Christmas version of BS. All that stuff is in there.

I have the Christmas version but it's still not giving me the new update! (fireplace oven, new recipes, etc)
I even did two manual updates.
Got the cat offer though. :( (btw no TL you should give me a gem sale offer! I'm ready to spend like a king!)

You need to complete the goals to unlock the recipe, I purchased and built a Candy Cane Maker before TL released the Goals, but one goal will not recognised that I have already bought the machine, I either need to buy and built a new one or pay gems to skip the step (is this another gem trap?)!!!! I just built another candy cane stove but I can't get the sugar and nobody is giving any information about it. Also, I manually downloaded the Xmas update and it did not fix my sugar problem. TL either needs to allow a bypass of this step or offer a gem credit for us to get past this step and be able to go on with the goals!

No, the fire oven cooks what the regular oven cooks.
The locked recipes you won't get until you complete the goals.
You ask your neighbors for the sugar.

Those 2 recipes are not locked by the goals. They are just new added recipes.

Same issue here, but with eggs and flour. And I know the requests aren't going through because I request from my sister. She has not seen a request yet. (I'm on iPad, she's on android)

Ya, there are bugs on sugar and the new requests. Don't know why but you should feedback to the staff.

TL is aware of the issues with the request system.

One thing: I think that the goal requesting system is tied to the constructibles for the appliances.
So if you request parts for your appliance from everyone one day, if you try and request goal items, these will not go
because you have already requested the material items from your nbrs.

I didn't get the bakery update either, no recipes or design items. I've always gotten the update on Friday so is there still a chance I will get it on Tuesday. Sure hope so everything is soo cute. Oh I'm on IPhone

I had the same problem until I realized the game isn't updating your item requests in real-time (like it used to) unless you do the following: go into your menu, then the "messages" button, and then go to the "news" tab. You'll see a bunch of people gifting you, as well as requests from your neighbours for items from you. Once you've dealt with these, go back to the main playing screen, and THEN check if you have received any sugar or whatever special item it is you're looking for. On more than one occasion, this has worked for me. In fact, a few times I never even had the chance to look to see if I increased my yield of requested items, because the game flashed up a screen saying I completed "x" goal and was on to a new one.
