Has anyone purchased these items yet? Do they cook faster or do all stoves/ovens/grills cook at the same pace? Thanks!

They're supposed to, however, most who have bought them found that there is a bug in the game that prevents them from working properly. I've not seen an update saying that this bug has been fixed, so I'd hold back on purchasing them.

I MUST remember to switch off the auto-fill/auto-correct in my iPad.
