I am still waiting on enough parts to build one.

There is currently just one catalog for the new constructable. In the catalog, there are 4 different items you can order, and they have mastery levels. At this time, it looks like only other players using Fashion Story 1.4.1 will be able to receive and see your part requests.

So the makeup counter will be visible in the store like the vanity is but it also allows us to order items that will be placed on counters? Is that right?

Also, this is a seasonal app...if this is take down or say there's a valentine version/original fs does the makeup counter appear there?

You first have to purchase & build the make up counter. The counter is found under your design tab:

Because chances are, if you want it badly enough you'll buy gems to get it...TL is in this to make money as well as keep us entertained, you know. If they gave us everything for coins, how would they ever make a profit?

But pls, if its for gems, it should not be a constructible! when I first suggested that makeup counter to be a constructible, i was suggesting it to be for coins! but it is indeed a good item that at least when I pay for gems, I get a new feature and not just a jpeg image. 36 gems is steep though...should be max 24 gems.

There's no obligation on you to purchase it. This is a free market. TL can charge whatever it wants for an item it develops. You don't have to buy if you feel it doesn't meet your expectations.

If you wanted to make all four items at once, you would need 4 makeup counters

MyOpinion: that's Not fair that this is with GEMs. That's an Item for Wirkung on the Store! In all Games this is the One and only Thing that prepares something and Costa GEMs. What in Future everything will Be like this? I don't Wanna buh GEMs that i can play the Game. The Easy appliances are still appliances, so they will still take up an appliance spot. The Make-up Counters are separate from the Order Slots, so they don't actually take up your Order Slots. This means the Make-up Counter is not affected by the number of Order Slots you are using or currently have free. You can use all of the Order Slots to place orders and still use the Make-up Counter to place additional orders.

No issues with gems. because at least for this item, paying with real cash does not yield just a jpeg but a function.
Issue is that if gems, then should not be constructible. If constructible, then should be 10 000 coins... i bought it and is waiting a heck long time for the parts to come!

I do not play any of the other games so that is a little confusing to me. Why don't they sit on the constructible? It would be nice to have counters (for coins) that matched it if they have to be separate from it. I want to try it out but as I stated above its confusing since I only play Fashion Story.

Are you getting a blank gem screen? If on Idevice you may have to restore your device.

Before you do that, try and clear out your cookies and data from your device(under settings, safari), also restart your device.
Also you can try and delete the game and redown it from the app store.
This worked for me for a while, but I did finally have to do the restore.

I mastered level 1 and got coins and xps so I am hoping, it is like the other catalog and we will get gems on level 2 and 4. I will keep you updated when I master to level 2.

You have an option to build quickly with 80 gems, or send out request to nbrs for the parts and build for free.

They set a precedent in RS & BS and also Farm of creating constructible for coins, why should fashion now be different? Absolutely unfair. The constructable items in the other games cost coins because the appliance limit still applies to these items. They still need to be under the appliance limit in order to have these items in the store.

With the Make-Up Counters, you can have as many as you want, because they do not share the limit with Order Slots. They are separate from the Order Slots, so you can continue to place catalog orders as well as make-up orders at the same time.

I have a question about requesting items to build your makeup counter. I only play FS so I'm not familiar with this yet. I selected to ask friends for the 1st item. Now that it's complete ( took a couple hour to receive all 10), I went to request the next item, and I was told I can't because I already requested from my friends today.

So my question is, can I only request 1 item from a friend a day (meaning it may be wise to only select a few friends to request at a time).

OR

Can I only request 1 item a day (meaning it doesn't matter if I ask ALL my friends for the item, or just 10 select friends). And if thats the case i suppose it will take a minimum of 4 days to build my makeup counter?

And one final question. I sent out a request for an item today, as I previously mentioned, and my mom called me (she plays as well) asking me if she has to "have" the item in order to give it. She said in her other game that when giving requested items to friends it comes out of your inventory. Like I said I only play FS, so I'm not familiar with the requesting items feature.

You can request any item for any friend. But it's like gifting, you have to wait 24 hours to be able to request again.

Again, like gifting, you can only get 20 materials/day. But materials don't add to gifts, so you can get 20 gifts and 20 materials per day, 40 total.G

I, personally, never heard that materials are taken out of inventory. You don't need to have the item to accept a material request.

When you send someone the requested item for the makeup counter, it is free to send to them, it does not come out of your inventory or cost you anything to send to them.

TL hasn't released the make-up counter to Android or Kindle Fire yet. Not sure if they ever will either. :(

Hi, you can request one item from each friend so don't select all your friends when asking for an item just select a few for each item you need remember the limit for the amount of items you can receive is 20 gifts and 20 construct able items. Hope this helped :-)

I want to knw why doesn't TL release the makeup counter available to Android devices as I think it would b great for those of us tht don't hv goals anymore n would look forward to having this as an additional thing to do within the game cause I know I would purchase it with gems n I BUY gems from time to time whn there's a great sale going on! So, please make it available on ANDROID too n n9t just for apple as there's more android users then iPhone users anyway, from what I see, anyways!!!???
