farmstory christmas :(

ok i downloaded farm story christmas on my ipod. i have all the updates installed.
when installed it and started to play i went to go to someones elses farm and it made me enter a "farm name" so i thought it was because it was the christmas edition so i did. i entered the same name as i have on regular farm story and wheni looked it took away 10 of my gems like i chose to change my name which i DID NOT do. even now when i go into farm story christmas it asks me to enter a farm story name which i had done and lost 10 gems for it. i won't enter another name in fear i may lose more gems, but i can't go to any other farms in the christmas edition because it says i don't have a farm name. please help with this. and i would love to get my gems back also

This is a known issue and it has been reported.

try emailing support for loss of your gems. Be sure and tell them that your name disappeared, then when you came to put it back in
you were charged the 10 gems, but it has disappeared again and you cannot visit anyone without a name.
I would not try to change again, in case you are charged another 10 gems.
Give them your storm ID, game and the day it happened so they can look into your game.

sent to support but now both farms are this way, i can't do anything... is there a way to check on the status of a support ticket?
