Finally icons for goals appeared.. Build candy cane maker & marzipan oven. I wonder why the ovens were released much earlier den the goals.. Coz I've alr built 2 candy cane makers bef the goals appeared n now it's not counting down to the requirements of building just one maker! Reluctantly I sold both makers n bot a new one n i completed the task.. BUT! I have to request for parts all over again for I've used up all in my collection by building the previous 2! It's super annoying n I think there he's my marzipan which i've just gotten today n the goals came hrs aft I built it.. Even if I store n put it back on it doesn't count down to the one I'm asked to build in the goals! Zzz!

You dont have to sell the ones you built already. Store sopme other appliances and set out candy cane makers until all your stored ones are out and then you can buy one and store the other ones.

I built 3 marzipan ovens last week. With the new goals, I had to buy another, which now I have 4, but I need parts for the unwanted one I just purchased to complete the goal.

I need to do the same thing with the candy cane oven, and need parts.

I asked my neighbors for sugar, and it said I've already requested today. I have not. So not only do I need to build/purchase additional ovens that I already own because they were released prior to the goals being ready, but now I cannot request sugar because "I've already done that" - which I have not since last week.

Are these goals bugged?

Could try restarting your device, or deleting the app and redownloading, your game is safe on TLs server.

I did the same. The machines should be credited because of TL screw up.We should get credit towards the goals.

Moral of the story. Don't build any marzipan or candy cane makers until you get the goals. Will continue to build ice cream makers or collect parts until i get the goals on my ipad.

I have the goals on my itouch...but don't really play that one as much. Will try to complete them there though.

There was a new IOS update in app store this morning for Bakery Christmas. Goals have been sent out to only some games at this time.

And i had to purchase a marzipan oven and a candymaker. I only have about $15,000 on my itouch bakery since i hardly play it, so i can only buy one oven right now. I only have aout 5 ovens out somcan only make 5 fruit tarts for now unfortunately. Will make the rest later and try to complet the ot chocolate as well when i have enough $$ to buy the drink makers. Which will prob take a loooooooooong time! Hopefully i'll get the goals on my ipad eventually so i can really run through the, faster. :)

Well I had goals in Farm Story and now they are gone. Seems to me if it says in the updates in the app store that new goals included, they should be included and especially not taken away. Bakery and Restaurant never showed goals even though updates said they would be included. So frustrating.

i also had goals this morning in bakery and farm i sent out requests for sugar on bs and the red bow and ham on fs..never recieved any and when i went back on games an hour later the goals have totally disappeared!! so i built things and cooked things only to have to start again ..if i ever get them back at all!!

Waiting for the goals is becoming a little frustrating, I had them in Farm Story and now they have disappeared. If some of the goals are seasonal, it seems like the holidays are going to be over before we get a chance to achieve them. Please GM and TL this seems a bit unfair that some players have and some don't; and disappear when we get them :(

The revamped Quest system is currently available for some users, but not everyone at this time. If you have not received the new Quest system, or you saw it momentarily yesterday but it is now gone, then the Quest system is currently not available for your game. We are currently working to bring this new system to all players as soon as possible.

Yes - that's what I ended up having to do in order for it to count against the goal. Fortunately I'm at a high enough level with enough coins that the cost didn't matter. It probably hurts more for lower level players with fewer coins if they bought early. I know people are complaining about that but honestly, at the end of the day, it's still a game so I'm not letting it bother me. If I ever become unhappy enough with the game, I'll stop playing. For now, I'm enjoying what I can, bugs and all.

My friend is on android....so I do have empathy. The difference is that android users don't get the new feature (at same time or at all...which is unfair i agree), whilst in this case, they gave the goals to us then took it away. If android got goals first and we apple had to wait I'd be fine. It's that some apple users get to keep goals while others get a "psyche". Now you have them, and .....now you don't ... Kind of a mean magic trick....Doh!

That's what I did. I sold all of the unconstructed appliances back but I kept one of each to keep building so I can keep requesting parts.

I actually haven't received the goals on the device i play on, my ipad. I won't be able to complete the goals on my itouch because i hardly ever play on that device unfortunately. So i totally understand the frustration. But getting upset about it won't make me get it any faster unfortunately. If i were convinced that approach could speed up the process i'd blow a fuse every hour on the hour!

One thing about Goals that may be causing confusion:

If you receive Sugar to fulfill the requirements of one Goal, that doesn't carry over to the next Goal if you need more sugar. You need more Sugar each time.

Also, there was an issue in Farm in which Android/iOS game 1.3 versions weren't able to receive Goal Item Requests. This has been fixed.

Please note that even though you have received this item previously from neighbors, these items do not carry over to fulfill the requirements of future Goals. You need to ask you Neighbors for this Gift again to fulfill the requirements of the new Goal.

TL releasing the appliances before the full functionality and goals were ready was a mistake. As a player I am paying for that lack of forethought and it's unfair that they haven't resolved the issue so that I am not forced to. Ridiculous.
