Unable to read message or view gifted parts

I am using an android OS phone playing both Bakery Story and Restraunt Story and on both games there are quite a few messages that people write on my wall that only show up as little squares, I am guessing it is from people with iphones or ipods. Also when people gift me parts I cannot view them in my gifts, I can only view food items. Is this normal for android OS devices?

My bakery is Bakers Dozen and my Restraunt is Good Eats.

When iOS users post in emoji, we see it as [][][][][][][][][][][][][]
emoji is a character set (?) available on iOS but not available on Androids.

iOS users can see their parts in My Gifts, but Android users cannot. One day hopefully we will be able to.
