The Great Farm Update Date: December 9!(Holiday Gift Box)

Well, it's almost here! The Great Farm Update Date! It is still near the beginning of December, but I don't think TL's clocks are functioning correctly, as we are already recieving Christmas content! To make sure to recieve this new content (on iOS) just download the new Farm Story: Christmas version. Remember, your data is stored on TL's servers, so you can delete the regular version for the time being. In the case of updates, we have 2 amazing new teasers from GM, the Snowplow and Santa Gnome!

There are new tasks and you can unlock candy cane crop and a green gnome. Although there are still glitches with the game. See thread regarding Xmas version of the game

There are tasks that give you gnomes and unlock crops but you don't get them and then the tasks reset.

Ah yes, I have an iPad, and the Goals don't seem to be working. One nice thing though- when you water people's farms, and then tap on the stars, you only have to tap once or twice to collect all the stars, instead of 10 times like before.

There is nothing different but for the background. I've just gone through every category and there is nothing different.

I have the giant candy canes for 5 gems and the box. Nothing else for the weekly content. I have the Yeti limited offer but that's different.

I guess the rest will roll out over the next few weeks to Android users, if we get them at all. Or should I force close and see, then restart my phone and see, then reinstall Farm from the TL servers (my data is saved on the TL servers and won't get lost) and see if I have the other items?

Was it that hard to release the same items to both platforms?

You should play Restaurant Story. You make beef chow mein in the oven. You bake a bento box in the box in the oven and then serve the food on a plate. Raw oysters are made using clams.

Androids aren't be able to see the items that weren't released to us. They're still working on enabling it for our platform. The items apparently in our image library yet.

On your farm I can see today's box items and limited offer, which Android's received, and all the old stuff. I see candy canes, but I don't think they are the 5 gem ones I received. I see a lot of green grass where I assume you planted your crop and placed other items I didn't receive.

I am another person whose Christmas crops cannot be seen by people who do not have the new edition; neighbors keep telling me there is NTW. When I flip to regular or Halloween edition, I cannot see my crops or giant tree either.

Additionally, what is being done about iPad users not being able to access goals? An update at least would be very nice.

I opened the box 3 times and I got the gingerbread men all 3 times!!!! I thought you fixed the issue of getting stuff double.

THINGS WE STILL NEED....to make a perfect picture

1) We need an actual TRAIN to go with the train station and tracks
2) We need a curved train track tile so we can have the train coming around the bend, or make the train tracks like those road tiles in city story.
3) We need a regular house covered in snow (no lights or holiday decorations) so can use past it Xmas time
4) We need a regular barn and silo covered in snow (no lights or decorations) so can use it past Xmas time
5) Is there anyway to allow us to place objects ON the snow tiles? (they are great, but they use up so much space and provide no coins back, find a way to allow us to put animals and things on it, like in restaurant story)

There will be goals added to the game shortly by an manual download. Once these goals are added, we will be able to unlock these items.

The candy cane tree does not produce the pictured candy canes. It produces instead round peppermint candies that are quite nice but not the advertised candy canes.
Those are the blossoms. When the tree is "ripe," you will see candy canes.

The only thing what EVER functionate is the advertising! Anything else bothers at the moment!!! At the FS Christmas version is a advertising every 10 seconds, no goals, no emojis, expensive stuff (a tree for 1.000.00?!?!?!?) ... Only the advertising is more and more and functionate!!! Why i should load a new game which will bother with the advertising too???? TL or GM or whatever: THATS NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Do anything for a good working game and not for the ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT is a adverting for other games!!!!

Yes it uses up a lot of coins, but many higher-players have been asking for more high-coin items because once you expand to the largest size, you end up accumulating so many coins with nothing to spend then on.

The red bows requests showed up as tasks to some players when they downloaded an update to the christmas version (in itunes- IOS).
Those current tasks have been shut off for now.

One of my iPads has tasks this morning. My other iPad and an iPod don't have tasks but do receive requests from others for bows and hams. The accepted requests do not show up in the neighbor's task inventory.

Peppermint tree only give 43 coins (63 if neighbor watered it). Tree cost 5,500 coins! Is this a mistake?

Um, so I just spent bucks on gems and bought the log cabin and train station. They are WAY TOO BIG ! Out of proportion compared to the trees and barn etc.

Hi GM: Got an oddity for you...

I Went onto the Halloween version and look what shows up in my inventory! Apparently I HAVE received 32 red bows but for some reason they don't show up or complete the task in the Christmas version.
