The Great Update Date: December 9!

Well, it's almost here! The Great RS Update Date! We are still near the beginning of December, but not in TL's mind! Just today, the Restaurant Story: Christmas version was released. Get it now from the app store! Remember, you can just delete the normal RS, get the Christmas version, then redownload the normal version. Update wise, we have two wonderful teasers from GM, Snowglobe and Elf Carolers!

While the elfs are tuning up their voices, let's talk about our hopes.

All platforms receive updates - though some features have not made the transition to Android yet. Recipes and decor go out to everyone Friday or Tuesday, limited time offers are only available to some people (on both as well).

It doesn't look like it.

It looks like they're giving out a lot of free stuff in-game so that everyone, not just a random few, who downloads the game can earn them. That seems fairer to the overall iOS population.

Same here. No Morning Cheer recipe and all the same decorations you got.

Oh well. We got closer to the Christmas version than we did in Farm.

I only get some notifications for msgs. Nothing else. I have MOTOROLA DROID INCREDIBLE 3. I use to get all till last update. Next you "guys" will say "we" will need to pay for a full version :(

Maybe not by Tuesday, but before Christmas.


Added Christmas content will be available for Android fairly soon. We just need to do a bit of work to enable it for that platform, so it'll take a little time.


I can safely speculate that it will be before Christmas.

The Elf Greeter is the limited offer. You can get the limited offer and not the weekly updates.(you will get by the end of the day on Tuesday)

Downloaded the manual update (regular). Don't have "Morning Cheer". (Morning Cheer. Sounds like Bloody Mary or a champagne cocktail to me.) Is it only in the special Xmas Edition? I have the new appliances, box, tables, chairs, two tiles.

Turdurken was a good concept, but in practice...who designed this thing? The appliance itself is very festive, but the uncooked turducken sitting on it looks like a [removed]. Surely SOMEONE at Team Lava noticed the resemblance. Just saying.
