Age requirement for fashion story?

Someone has been banned from fashion story for being under the age of 14. Where is it stated that there's an age requirement? I hadn't heard of one before. (she wasn't causing any problems)

The person will need to discuss their case with TeamLava Support (support@teamlava.com).
The minimum age is 14, however, as outlined clearly in the Forum Rules (http://forums.teamlava.com/forumdisplay.php?6-Forum-Rules-amp-Policies) and Terms of Service (www.TeamLava.com/terms).

The game doesn't have any adult features like nudity, drugs or violence etc
I met about 100 or more kids in both bakery and fashion
I once met a 6 year old! And an 8 year old
So it's not fair to ban one from the game and leave the others!

I can't answer for TL why the age is 14.

You don't get speeding tickets unless you are caught. Same idea with the games. If TL found out younger kids were playing and knew their Storm8 ID, they would ban them.

The thing is there's nothing when you download the game about an age restriction. And let's be real.. Who would come to a forum to find the terms of service first? On here is the only place ive seen anything about age requirements. there is nothing in the actual game. And the person is 1000x more mature than most playing the game lol

I agree there is like 1 person in 100 who would actually read the terms and I mean ALL the terms not the headlines lol
If they want it to be restricted then they should do are u sure u are 14 or more? Lol or u put ur date of birth first
But all u have to do to play is entering a username
So it's mostly their fault
u won't check if u can play or not first before playing
It's like when a 14 year old kid buy a 18+ xbox game and the seller let them buy it without asking about their age
So u won't blame the kid u will blame the seller

so wht if the person like spent $100s and $100s of dollars on the game? it would all go down the drain:( if it was me i would drive over to thier building and demand tht i b able to play again... lol jk but it wouldnt be fair to not get ur money back in a way.....

When my kids began playing TL games I was not aware they were 14 and up. Personally I believe its up to the parents to be aware and decide if its ok. Seriously, farm story is pretty tame compared to games for ps3 and xbox.

And pinkster is right I think TL game are way better to play with for kids than most of ps3 and xbox games

As Rachael said, the TOS dictates that users need to be 14 years or older to play our games (18 and older without parental consent). Since this concerns violations to the TOS, and the question has been answered, I'm going to lock the thread.
