View Full Version : Accidentally stored a table with items on it. Are my items gone now?!

I was in DESIGN mode and stored a couple of tables. When I exited DESIGN mode I realized I stored the wrong tables. The tables I had just stored had tons of items on them. Are these items now gone? Is there somehow I can find them? This is ridiculous.

I'm really sorry to say they have, I think we have all done this. It's very frustrating.

Yeah, they're gone. Sorry :( Whenever you store something with items on them they'll disappear even when you place the item back.

It's not ridiculous, in my opinion.

I've never made the same mistake twice and after discovering this in Bakery with the counters, I take note of which items I can store without losing my inventory.

Next time switch back and forth so you can be sure. It doesn't take that long.

Additionally, exiting every so often appears to stop the server getting out if sync whilst in Design.

In my opinion I think it's ridiculous because sometimes u click on store by mistake. I'm saying this because I have clicked on store before when I actually wanted to click on rotate. It so vexed me because I waited a whole day to get what I placed on that table.

People make mistakes, we are human after all we get out of sync too. It's very easy to put the wrong counter in inventory/storage when you have alot of counters. I've done it many times, especially when tired as its hard guessing at times which table/counter etc you wish to remove.

Allowing items to be stored with counters will lead to item abuse. You can keep making new items, store them, and then use new counters for more items. While this game mechanic is susceptible to player error, it does keep the game balanced.

How about a confirmation when you are trying to store a counter that is not empty? I've accidentally and purposely stored counters with food on them.

I'm sorry to hear you've lost items, I too have done this at times. It is frustrating to lose items.

I've done this many times and don't understand why there's not a confirm button on storage like there is on everything else.
