Sorry, does it show an update in the app store? If you're having problems updating other apps too and accessing iTunes. It may be a problem with iTunes, ie your Apple ID or password. It would be best to contact Apple ( iTunes support).
However, you could try deleting the app and redownloading, your game is safe on TLs servers, and restarting your device may also help.
