How many times do u have to cook something to make it go from lvl1 mastery no exp to lvl 4 mastery?

Dont really understand the mastery, apart from giving you a reward of either gems or coins, what does mastery do?

Once u master the food u get I think 5% more coins when it sells (not sure if 5% is right but u get more coins when selling anyways).

That's news to me. I've mastered quite a few dishes and I get the same amount of coins for them as before. At least according to the + signs floating over once a customer finishes a plate of the mastered food.

You get 5% more in Farm Story after you've mastered crops and the popup says you will. Haven't seen that in BS or RS. Besides, if you did, if you mastered Red Velvet Cake at 12 coins/serving, 5% more would be 12.6 coins/serving, and in Farm Story they truncate rather than round up, so you'd still get 12 coins/serving. And you wouldn't see the 5% increase in the other foods either.

Is there anyway to change the order that the recipes appear when trying to chooses something to prepare? I would like to put recipes I've already mastered at they'd end so I don't have to scroll though them every time, as there doesn't seem to be an advantage to continue cooking the same things over and over.

No, we can't change the order of the recipes in the cookbooks.

When new food is released, they are placed at the beginning of the cookbook until the next recipes are released. I find that convenient.

When the update came out to get a gem when you've fully mastered foods I'd already mastered most of them and havnt got the gems I'm owned who else has had this problem

Gems for Level 4 mastery are not retroactive. I had mastered all my foods on both RS and BS and didn't get gems for them.

In RS and BS, i guess there is no 5% increase in income in level 4 mastery (as i see only gem and the reward money).... In CS, it says u get a 5% increase in every contract plus one cc and a river once u master it -- but im not sure of that yet... I will check it when my contract is done later...

I don't think there's any income bonus for masteries in RS or BS. I believe it's just coins, XP, or gems that you can get.
